Back to Work!
November 28, 2006 -- I had a great Thanksgiving holiday this year. The weather was spectacular, probably the best late November weather I've ever seen. I was able to ride my Harley every single day, without freezing, quite rare for this time of year.
I played two football games this holiday, one on Friday and one on Saturday. Kalen, my oldest son, played in both games and we had a great time. I got ribbed for being in Geneva more than Pennsylvania, but it was all good natured.
If I threw a bad pass, I got: "Is that how they throw in Switzerland?"
If I couldn't make a play: "You're a step slower. Eating too much cheese and chocolate over there?"
You can see how witty these guys are. Actually, I have been playing with these friends for, in some cases, twenty years and they are the best. Except for my sons, I miss Saturday football more than just about anything. I am going back to PA for Christmas and will be able to play again on the Saturday before Christmas.
Now, time to get back to work. Lots of stories to work on and lots of people to see and interview -- gotta love it.
